  1. The bluegrass festival was originally at the area of the pool and Collett street recreation center. It has never been all free admission.

  2. Larry, way back it use to be at the soccer fields at Judges. Before the soccer fields started. It was a free event. Then they moved to the pool area at Collett St.recreation area. But it was free back years ago.

  3. Candidate Phil: In 2004, the annual 4th of July celebration became the first annual Red White and Bluegrass Festival. That is what I am speaking of, and was not free.
