Casting For Hope is a local non-profit dedicated to supporting women afflicted by gynecological cancers and their families through financial, emotional, and spiritual means. In today's episode we interview founders Taylor Sharp and John Zimmerman. Four years ago, after Taylor's mom passed away from ovarian cancer, they were motivated and inspired to form Casting For Hope to provide assistance to others experiencing loss and hardship due to similar circumstances. We talk to them about these motivations, the history of the group, and their upcoming benefit concert at the COMMA featuring five regional acts headlined by Mipso.
