Yet another special session was called this week, however this one was much less productive than the last. Roy Cooper apparently brokered a deal between the Charlotte City Council and General Assembly leaders: Charlotte repeals their non-discrimination ordinance, and HB2 is repealed in full. It turns out it wasn't as simple as that, and the session ended without a repeal. I chat with Democratic House Representative Graig Meyer to get his perspective on what happened.
